About Me

Most digital products fail at complexity. They either hide it badly or hand it to the user. Regulated identity is where that fails hardest, because there, clarity is the product.
Experience working with large-scale regulated partners, including AOK, BARMER, and Deutsche Bahn.
What I focus on
The systems other teams build on: the flows, shared patterns, and standards that keep a product consistent as it grows and as the rules change. My focus is security- and compliance-critical work: verification, signing, and the trust flows underneath, in digital identity and healthcare.
How I work
I turn regulatory and technical complexity into something people can actually use. Most of the real work happens before the screens: the flow decisions, the system architecture, the call on what to build and what to cut. In practice I'm the one holding the whole picture, connecting what legal, engineering, and product each know but haven't put together, and turning it into a decision the team can move on. A lot of it happens in writing: the document the team argues from, and then decides from.
Background & mindset
I came to this through architecture and urban design, across five countries. Different discipline, same instinct: keep the user, the business, the law, and the technology in view at once, and find the shape that works for all of them. I like pragmatic decisions and plain communication, especially when the trade-offs are unavoidable and someone has to make the call.
