About
Product Designer specialising in design systems, accessibility, and regulated digital products.
I work in complex environments shaped by legal, technical, and organisational constraints — where clarity is critical.
Experience working with large-scale regulated partners, including AOK, BARMER, and Deutsche Bahn.
What I focus on
I design systems that scale: shared components, consistent interaction patterns, and standards that reduce ambiguity for both users and teams. I’m particularly experienced in security- and compliance-critical contexts, such as digital identity and health-related products, where design quality directly impacts risk, trust, and long-term maintainability.
How I work
I work closely with product, engineering, and QA to translate regulatory and technical requirements into clear, usable interfaces. Rather than optimising for visual novelty, I prioritise decisions that improve consistency, simplify flows, and support sustainable development over time.
Background & mindset
My background in architecture strongly influences how I approach product design. I think in structures, constraints, and systems before screens, which helps me identify what is essential, remove what is not, and design solutions that hold up under real-world conditions.
I value thoughtful collaboration, clear communication, and pragmatic decision-making — especially when trade-offs are unavoidable.
